Urgent grants of FemFund are a simple mechanism that allows you to almost immediately receive money (up to PLN 3,000) to operate in new, unforeseen circumstances. It works all year round, without a specific schedule. Because feminism is an urgent matter!
Feminist Emergency Service supports urgent actions for the rights of women, non-binary, transgender, and queer persons. Grants can be used by collectives and organizations that feel part of the feminist movement and in which women and/or non-binary, transgender, intersex, and queer persons play a decisive role.
In our understanding, an action is urgent if it needs to be taken quickly in connection with a new, unexpected situation, such as a sudden threat (such as war, political persecution of activists etc.) or a chance for a feminist change. We only finance activities that benefit persons living in Poland.
The maximum amount that can be received as an urgent grant is PLN 3,000.
Application window is always open – all year long. You will learn about whether you have received a grant within a maximum of 7 working days after submission of the application.
