Village Housewives’ Association “Kotowice nad Rozlewiskiem”
Kotowice
MiniGrant: Village Housewives’ Association “Kotowice nad Rozlewiskiem” will organize a relaxing intergenerational trip for women to Sobotka.
About the group
We wanted to get to know each other, get out of the house, take a break from the hardships of everyday life, get to know each other, and build our small social self-help group, just like our mothers and grandmothers used to do.
Village Housewives’ Association “Kotowice by the Backwater” is a group of 30 socially active women, which was established in 2021. Its aim is to support the development of women’s entrepreneurship and to initiate and conduct activities to improve their living conditions in the countryside. The members of the group jointly organize workshops, meetings with specialists, and charity activities. It is important for them to help women live up to their full potential and to support each other in implementing their own ideas.
We know how to do something for the village and for other people. Now we want to do something for ourselves – recharge our batteries in a female community.
About the action
Using the MiniGrant, the group will organize an intergenerational trip for members of the association and residents of the village, named “Grandma, mother, daughter – spend the day with us.” A joint trip will allow them to relax, get to know each other and start planning further socio-cultural activities. It is also a chance to learn to organize events so that the group can independently continue to do so in the future.
Grant amount: 5300 PLN
