MiniGrant: providing specialist psychological, legal, and social counselling as well as career counselling and group support/empowerment workshops for women who experience various forms of violence and discrimination.

 

About the group

The assistance we provide is to create conditions enabling women to exercise their human rights, including the right to live free from violence and discrimination, and to implement the constitutional principle of gender equality.

The Time of Women Foundation from Poznan provides psychological, legal, and intervention support to women experiencing various forms of violence. The team of the organization consists of almost 40 people: first response and crisis intervention specialists, psychologists, psychotherapists, career counselors, and lawyers.
Thanks to such a large group of specialists, the foundation can conduct comprehensive activities at the highest level, including psychological, legal, and social counseling, vocational counseling, group support, and empowering workshops. In addition to aid activities, the foundation runs the “Time of Women Gallery”, where it organizes exhibitions, happenings, and author’s meetings devoted to equality, women’s rights, and the position of women in the broadly understood culture.

Almost every day, at least one new person comes to us looking for support – this shows how great the demand for our help in the region is.

 

 

About the action

The Time for Women Foundation addresses its support to both residents of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship and the whole of Poland. Every week, more persons come to the foundation looking for help. Others are already in psychological or legal processes that cannot be interrupted. In order to provide women with the maximum level of security and agency, the foundation continues its activities to the fullest extent possible.

Following the completion of the MiniGrant activities the group received a renewal grant from FemFund for the purpose of continuing their work in 2024
