About the group

Feminism is our way to act and create.

The Subversive Theories Group consists of activists involved in the fight for the common good. Since March 2024, they have been making a documentary about young activists involved in the fight for tenant rights and opposing student dorm shutdowns.

About the action

Making a film means telling a story about the grassroots resistance of young women who work together – we want their story to inspire others.

The film is about the activity of the student movement activists. In 2024, they managed to conduct successful, peaceful occupations in defense of student dorms in Cracow and Poznan. The collective wants to show the agency that girls gain through cooperation. Their story about heroines taking matters into their own hands is addressed primarily to young women.
