Feminist Emergency Service: urgent grant for the operation of the queer support group and psychological interventional consultations in Bydgoszcz

About the organization

State of Equality consists primarily of young queer people. They regularly organize, among others, the Equality March in Bydgoszcz, and the Summer of Free Love festival, however, also deal with psychological help for LGBTQPIA persons.

About the action

The last benefit event, which was to take place in November, was cancelled due to the new wave of the pandemic. We do not want to leave people from the LGBT+ community in Bydgoszcz without support.

Due to the pandemic, it is much more difficult to organize current benefit events, which have been an effective way of financing this type of work so far. The Feminist Emergency Grant will therefore be used to remunerate the person running the queer support group and to conduct psychological interventional consultations.
