Feminist Emergency Service: urgent grant for temporary housing for a resident activist

About the group

The Social Justice Movement Pomerania is a collective supporting people facing illegal evictions. It is the only group like this in the Tri-City. It consists of persons with left-wing views, who also co-organize demonstrations on the rights of women, immigrants, LGBTQPIA, and persons with a lower economic status.

About the action

Currently, the Social Justice Movement supports the housing struggle in one of Gdynia’s tenement houses, taken over by a tenement house cleaner. The only other tenant and her family are being harassed by the owner, who is already being prosecuted. Unfortunately, prolonged harassment has put the activist’s health at serious risk. It is necessary to rent a temporary replacement apartment for her – a grant from the Feminist Emergency Service will be allocated for this purpose.
