About the group

We believe in radical empathy and care, and we implement actions in response to the specific needs of the people we support.

The Perpetual Aid Group is an informal and grassroots anarcho-queer self-help collective. It mainly supports queer and trans persons in different areas of their lives.

About the action

Since March 2022, the Perpetual Aid Group, together with a group of friends, has run a grassroots intervention hostel for people who have fled Ukraine and need short-term accommodation. It is a safe space for various groups, including LGBTA+ persons, Black persons, and single mothers with children.

The hostel operates in the premises of a friendly school; however, other costs have so far been covered by the collective from its own pocket. The Emergency Grant will be used to pay for the necessary materials, including hygiene products.
