Feminist Emergency Service: urgent grant intended to create and equip temporary accommodation for people who came from Ukraine after the start of the war
About the organization
The PassionSharing Foundation is a women’s and feminist organization from Wiazownica-Kolonia in the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship. They have been operating for two years, and at the center of their activities are women from nearby towns. In PassionSharing they meet for sessions of rural women’s cinema, yoga classes, survival events for women, and other events, thanks to which the inhabitants of the surrounding villages and towns can develop and build a supportive community.
About the action
We can give our used towels, slippers, share cleaning supplies. But this is not about us not being able to do it, but about the dignified reception of people fleeing war. We want to let them know that their dignity is important to us, and they deserve the best.
Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, PassionSharing decided to use the renovated attic of its headquarters as a temporary shelter for refugees from Ukraine. The grant will pay for bed linen, hygiene products, towels, food, and fuel for the transport of persons.
Grant amount: PLN 2400
