About the group

We are a branch of the feminist movement in Swietokrzyskie. We act according to the strategy of small steps. We disenchant feminism, which in the countryside is perceived through the prism of harmful stereotypes. Our work proves that feminism is not something to be feared, but something that leads to social justice.

PassionSharing Foundation is an organization created by women and working for women in the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship, in the village of Wiazownica-Kolonia. The place of their activities is an old barn, acting as a cinema, a space for meetings and workshops. PassionSharing was established because in the countryside and small towns there is a lack of initiatives for women, aimed at their development, support, and building relationships. There is also a lack of safe and neutral spaces where groups that experience discrimination can meet without fear.

Our goal is for women in the countryside to speak loudly about their needs and passions, speak out on important matters, feel their agency, and also – have allies in other women.

About the action

On a daily basis, PassionSharing creates a space where women can meet and exchange experiences. She organizes training meetings (at which participants can practice Nordic walking or running) in a non-judgmental atmosphere, trips to the pool, as well as weekend survivals or WenDo workshops. 90% of the PassionSharing events are directed strictly at women. The program created by the Foundation is not rigid: it is based on the needs of persons who come to meetings and on the resources of volunteers – because most of the meetings are led by persons from the PassionSharing community on the principle of free sharing of skills and interests.

Our foundation is based on self-management – we work for rural women, because we belong to them, we work for leaders – because we belong to this group, we network people with passions, because we ourselves have many passions and we want to share them.
