Feminist Emergency Service: urgent grant for starting packages for families who came to Poland from Ukraine because of the war
About the organization
Our Small Motherlands Foundation is primarily engaged in supporting and developing local communities. In February 2022, in connection with the invasion of Ukraine, people working at the Foundation also engaged in supporting refugees from Ukraine.
About the action
Once the first enthusiasm for refugee aid had subsided, thanks to the grant, we were able to fulfill the important needs of refugees and their children for another two months at least.
Using the grant, the Foundation prepared starter packages for 60 refugees who lived in the towns of the Sieradz county, including Dzierlinie, Dzigorzewo, Czartki, Stoczki, Bobrowniki and in Sieradz. The packages contain essential cosmetics and hygiene products, personal underwear, and shoes. In addition, the grant supported several refugee families in their current needs.
Grant amount: PLN 3,000
