Our Mosaic Foundation

Stanowice

MiniGrant: “non-school of childbirth”, i.e. workshops with specialists: a midwife/certified lactation consultant, a doula, a urogynecological physiotherapist and a children’s physiotherapist for residents of Olawa and the surrounding area.

About the group

We want to give mothers more confidence so that they can find the help and support they need faster and more easily, so that they know how to take care of themselves, as well as their children and families, and show them where they can seek further help.

Our Mosaic is a young foundation, whose core consists of 6 committed specialists, actively working to support mothers, young parents, and children. They were joined by personal experience and common interests related to motherhood and parenthood. As mothers of young children, they learned the sad realities of perinatal care and the difficulties associated with the lack of an alternative offer of support for young mothers in their area. That is why today, by combining the fields they deal with: perinatal education, social and ecological activities, as well as women’s and children’s physiotherapy, they want to comprehensively support moms and their families.

We know from our own experience how excluded mothers of young children can feel. Although there is a lot of talk about “support for parents”, most of the responsibilities related to raising and caring for children, taking care of the home and family life rest with women.

About the action

As part of the MiniGrant, the Our Mosaic Foundation wants to create a “non-school of childbirth” for residents of Olawa and the surrounding area who are looking for information on perinatal topics, planning motherhood, are pregnant or have just given birth. They plan meetings and workshops with four specialists: a midwife/certified lactation consultant, a doula, a urogynecological physiotherapist, and a children’s physiotherapist.
