NeuroQueerPGR

Malowka

MiniGrant: A collective of 4 neuroqueer activists will build a website for their initiative and organize an infotour: two information and workshop meetings for activists and neuroqueers.

About the group

As a collective, we want to take on the responsibilities towards the outside world, get something for ourselves which will help us at the next stages of work, and create something for others, share our vision, passions, knowledge, and message.

NeuroQueerPGR is a group of queer, non-binary and neurodivergent individuals who have been working together since 2023. They were bound by life and activist experiences, feminist values, and common dreams. One of them is to create a home and workshop space, open to other groups, where various events, bodywork workshops, herbal classes, engaged artistic/hobby workshops around queer, feminism, nature, and neuroatypical passions would take place. They believe that together they can create a safer space for themselves and others to live in and learn. Feminist values are important to them: self-help and mutual care, as well as respect for all beings and the planet.

The main goal of the group is to create a neuroqueer place, somewhere in the countryside, where we could live, work and share space and our skills with people with needs similar to ours, and act a little bit in the local community.

About the action

In order to get closer to making their dream come true, the group plans to set up a website for their initiative and start an info tour: two information and workshop meetings for approx. 60 activists and neuroqueers. Thanks to these activities, they will be able to reach people who could be interested in the project, offer support, or in the future – use the space by organizing workshops or events.
