Feminist Emergency Service: an urgent grant for self-defense and assertiveness workshops WenDo for members and the board of the association.

About the group

We animate the life of our neighborhood: picnics, activities for residents, cultural projects. Women get involved and develop artistically. We show that women are good leaders and activists.

Women are the driving force of the association. They constitute the vast majority of its members (20 people). After the election of a woman as the president of the association, there was a conflict and violent behavior on the part of some men.

About the action

Members of the association (9 people) organized and participated in WenDo workshops in their village of Kruzy. For two days, they had the opportunity to get to know each other better, learn the principles of assertive communication and self-defense. They also practiced real-life skills: defining their comfort zone, assertive messages, and ways to react in a dangerous situation.
