Feminist Emergency Service: an urgent grant for activities in the Occupied Collegium Broscianum (OCB) on 6-9 September: Days of Resistance, during which the 2nd National Congress of Delegates acting on the Palestinian issue will take place.
About the group
For the most part, we are a queer community, and the fight for equal rights – to life, health, safety, as well as easy access to basic hygiene products – is crucial for us.
They are a grassroots student group working for education and building a space for dialogue on the Palestinian issue. During weekly events, they read literature by Palestinian artists, hold traditional Palestinian embroidery workshops, organize meetings with scientists, academics and specialists related to the subject of the Middle East and its culture.
About the action
The occupied Collegium Broscianum (OCB) will host Days of Resistance between 6 and 9 September. During this time, the 2nd National Congress of Delegates acting on the Palestinian issue will take place. Delegates from seven cities in Poland will jointly prepare for negotiations and exchange the experiences they have had. In addition to internal strategic discussions, the group will also prepare an open program – lectures and panels with the diaspora community – and cultural events. The grant will be used for technical support of the 2nd Congress of Delegates, payment of travel costs, and substantive preparation for the BDS conference in Brussels.
Grant amount: PLN 3,000
