Empowerment Grants

Forms of cooperation with FemFund depend on the needs of groups and organizations

For persons who are just getting started and do not have experience in fundraising. Or they have an idea for a feminist initiative. Recruitment takes place at the beginning of every year (most often in January):

For groups that suddenly need urgent money. Right now, during the next few days, they must conduct a feminist intervention or seize an opportunity that cannot wait. Recruitment lasts continuously throughout the year:

For groups or organizations that are looking for developmental, long-term support. The flexible cash will ensure independence, stability, and financial security, so that they can do feminist work on a daily basis. Recruitment begins in autumn (most often in September):

Empowerment Grants

Empowerment Grants are an empowerment for organizations and feminist groups. They serve their stability, independence and institutional security. It is flexible money that organizations and groups can spend according to their needs and priorities – without planing separate projects. Thanks to the Empowerment Grants, they will be able to focus more on their daily work and the implementation of their mission.

Empowerment Grants are only available in Polish. If you want to apply – visit femfund.pl/granty-mocy

Who can apply for a Empowerment Grant?

These grants can be used by informal groups and non-governmental organizations that work for women, queer, non-binary and transgender people in Poland, are created and managed by the above-mentioned individuals and identify themselves and their actions as feminist. However, we invite groups and organizations with at least 2 years of experience to participate in the Empowerment Grants.

We are a group that lives and works abroad. Can we apply for a grant?

Not. The Fund supports feminist activism in Poland, therefore, grants, including Power Grants, are open to groups and organizations that respond to the needs of women and people living in Poland.
